Jerry Janda [aka Horror Fighter] became a professional writer after his promising career as a Shaolin master ended tragically when Chong Li broke his leg during a kumite in the '80s. He wrote his first short story at the age of of 9, and, over the course of 35 years, has shown marginal improvement.
